Question: I accidentally left my ampoules out of the refrigerator over night. Are they ok or should I throw them out?
Answer: If the ampoules have not turned yellow and are still purple they should be ok. We have held ampoules at controlled room temperature (USP 15° C to 30° C) for weeks and have not seen any change in their performance. However, temperatures 40° C or higher could cause the spores to germinate and loose their heat resistance.
