Products -> EZTest® Biological Test Packs (Process Challenge Devices) for Steam or Ethylene Oxide

The EZTest Biological Test Pack is a small, convenient, FDA 510(k) cleared product containing EZTest self-contained biological indicators. Designed to parallel the performance of the AAMI Test Pack, each pack includes a record card with a chemical integrator.

EZTest Biological Test Packs (PCDs) are available in a pouch for EO sterilization, and a box (about the size of a deck of playing cards) for steam sterilization.

Availability

Use (steam)

1. Load sterilizer.
2. Lay EZTest biological test pack flat on lowest shelf.
3. Process load with a normal cycle.
4. Remove the test pack – allow to cool at room temperature for 15 minutes.
5. Remove the EZTest biological indicator and incubate at 55-60°C for 24 hours.

Use (EtO gas)

1. Load sterilizer.
2. Lay EZTest biological test pack flat in the center of the sterilizer load.
3. Process load with a normal cycle.
4. Remove the test pack as soon as possible from the load.
5. Remove the EZTest biological indicator from the test pack and incubate at 35-39°C for 48 hours.

24 months from date of manufacture.

EZTest biological indicators are traceable to a recognized culture collection and certified for population, D-value, Z-value and performance.
